DJ TOM MOBILE DJ SERVICES will be back at Splashtown Water Park in Spring this summer every Saturday in June and July, May 24th for a private event, June 17th for Fathers day, July 4th for the Fireworks. I will be back at the wave pool having fun and playing interactive games with the guests, and playing a great mix of music. I am very excited about this summer at Splashtown. The park is already open on the weekends so be sure to take the family out to Splashtown for the best Splashes, the best waves and the most fun in Texas summer fun.

I am enjoying my Sunday, Very excited my summer DJ work at Splashtown is about to begin. I had a great time last weekend playing music and providing fun for the FMC Technologies company picnic and also the NASA family picnic at Splashtown. Today I am spending time working on my DJ computer adding newly purchased music, organizing music, researching games and interactive activities, and minor equipment maintenance and working on DJ contracts and proposals that need to be sent out.www.djtomonline.com

Being a Mobile Disc Jockey is a job that I take very serious. To be a good DJ it takes more than just showing up and playing music. I am a member of 3 DJ organizations, Greater Houston Area Mobile Music Association, Houston Disc Jockey Association, and The American Disc Jockey Association. I attend monthly meetings to learn things that will help my business grow and continually improve. I have attended Conventions and conferences on the local and national level. Each of these groups offers useful information and training that allows me to learn from other DJ’s who take this job as serious as I do. Triple P’s play an important role in everything I do as a DJ practice, practice, practice. If you are a Mobile Dj and are not a member of an organization that affords you the same opportunities to network, learn and grow and improve your business as well as your skills, I sincerely hope you will consider joining one of these groups if not all three. The presentation last night at the Houston Disc Jockey Association was very informative and useful. Representatives were on hand of The Houston Entertainment Pac, which is a political action group addressing the City Of Houston’s new noise ordinance laws. I did learn a lot about this new law that every Mobile DJ should be knowledgeable of. If you or someone you know would like to hire a Mobile DJ for an event, please have them call me and I will work closely with them to ensure that their event is the best it can be. I will be happy to meet with them to plan and discuss, customize and plan their event.
